City of Lights Festival – Free Movie Screening

Before Tamworth lights up for the City of Lights Festival, discover the story of how it all began.

As part of Centrepoint Tamworth’s official Glow Zone, Forum 6 Cinemas will host FREE screenings of a special short film produced by the Tamworth Film and Sound Archive, celebrating Tamworth’s history as Australia’s first city of electric light.

Screenings run every 30 minutes from 5 till 8pm, Friday and Saturday.

Then grab a bite in Centrepoint’s Food Court before strolling down to the City of Lights Festival in Bicentennial Park.

Celebrate our history — then watch Tamworth light up again!
